The GO Club

In keeping with Golden Opportunity’s mission to provide fair and equitable access to services, GO negotiated late district busing and introduced an initiative called the GO Club. The GO Club provides six hours a week of after-school enrichment activities at no cost to GO caregivers and offers community, socialization, peer friendship, and belonging for students at the end of the economic scale. It ensures that GO students in grades two to five whose families have limited access to transportation continue to receive free one-on-one tutoring without interruption. The GO Club fosters a love of learning, cooperative play, creative expression, and self-worth in every child, providing services without barriers to participation for students in need. The GO Club brings students together, allowing them to broaden their peer groups and build valuable friendships before entering middle school.

Thanks to Wegmans for the support and care they give to our GO student community! Every GO Club student will enjoy healthy and nutritious snacks courtesy of Wegmans.
